    МОК принадлежат все права на вещание и распространение, касающиеся Олимпийских игр. МОК может предоставить какой-либо вещательной организации эксклюзивное право на передачу по телевидению Олимпийских игр на своей территории. В оговариваемые суммы входит стоимость технических средств, инфраструктуры и других услуг, которые должны быть предоставлены ОКОИ за его собственный счет, если иное не будет конкретно оговорено с МОК. Те же положения действуют и в отношении прав на радиовещание. ОКОИ не должен заключать никакие контракты, которые бы были прямо или опосредованно связаны с продажей прав на вещание (включая контракты, связанные с измерением времени, предоставлением данных, официальным Олимпийским фильмом и т. д.). МПК принадлежат все права на вещание и распространение, касающиеся Паралимпийских игр. Предпринимая организацию Паралимпийских игр, МПК передает все связанные с Паралимпийскими играми телерадиовещательные права ОКОИ за вознаграждение, определенное в соглашении между МПК и МОК.

    broadcast and distribution rights
    IOC owns all broadcast and distribution rights with regards to the Olympic Games. The IOC may grant a broadcasting organization the exclusive right to broadcast by television the Olympic Games in its territory. The sums negotiated include the technical facilities, infrastructure and other services that will be provided by the OCOG at its sole expense, unless otherwise specifically agreed by the IOC. Similar provisions are also valid for radio broadcasting rights. The OCOG must not enter into any contracts directly or indirectly linked with the sale of broadcasting rights (including contracts related to time-keeping, data, the official Olympic film, etc.).IPC owns all rights relating to the broadcasting and distribution of the Paralympic Games. In undertaking the hosting of the Paralympic Games, the IPC transfers all Paralympic Games-related television/broadcast rights, to the OCOG in exchange for a fee as set forth in the IPC/IOC Agreement.
